ADI  is an American multinational company specializing in the design of microprocessors and related technologies. Its headquarters is located in Sunnyvale, Silicon Valley, San Francisco Bay Area, California, USA. ADI was founded in 1969 and initially had a wafer fab to produce its designed chips. Since 2009, ADI has become a fabless semiconductor company responsible for hardware IC design and product sales activities after splitting its wafer fab into the current GlobalFoundries.
